This Privacy Policy, together with the Terms of Service posted on the Web Sites, sets forth the general rules and policies governing your use of the Web Sites.  Depending on your activities when visiting the Web Sites, you may be required to agree to additional terms and conditions.

We generally keep this Privacy Policy posted on the Web Sites, and you should review it frequently.  We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice to you.  Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting of the revised Privacy Policy.  WHEN YOU ACCESS THE WEB SITES, YOU AGREE TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY.  IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY, OR TO ANY CHANGES WE MAY SUBSEQUENTLY MAKE, IMMEDIATELY STOP ACCESSING THE WEB SITES.

Personal information

We may collect personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when you visit our Web Sites, register on the site, subscribe to a newsletter, respond to a survey, fill out a form and questionnaire, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Web Sites. You may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number.  We will collect personal identification information from you only if you voluntarily submit such information to us. You can always refuse to supply Personal Information, except that it may prevent you from participating and engaging in some of our services and Web Site activities.

Non-personal information

We may collect non-personally identifiable information about users of the Web Sites whenever they interact with our Web Sites. Non-personal identification information may include without limitation, information and analytics related to the use the Web Sites, communication preferences, aggregated data relative to the services we provide, technical information about users means of connection to our Web Sites, etc.

Web browser cookies

Our Web Sites may use “cookies” to enhance user experience. Generally, your web browser places cookies on your hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information. How we use collected information

When you provide Personal Information to us through an application, on our Web Sites, or on third party social networking sites, such information may be publicly viewed by other members of these sites, and we cannot prevent further use of the information by third parties.

With Whom Do We Share Information

We may share the information you provide or the information we gather from third parties to any party with your consent or, in any event, to our affiliated companies, subsidiaries, agents, contractors and our business partners. We also may share information with the following:

Your Control Over Your Information

Email communications: When you receive promotional communications from us, you may indicate a preference to stop receiving further promotional communications from us and you will have the opportunity to “opt-out” by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in the promotional email you receive or by contacting us directly at barbara@thepathforward.com.  Regardless of your indicated email preferences, we may send you administrative emails regarding the Web Sites, including, for example, notices of updates to our Terms of Service or this Privacy Policy.

Update or delete your Account information: If you wish to verify, correct, update or delete any of the Personal Information provided to us in connection with a personal account associated with the Web Sites, you may do so by editing it on your associated account page or by contacting us directly at barbara@thepathforward.com. Please note that we may be required (by applicable law or otherwise) to keep the outdated information and not delete it (or to keep the outdated information for a certain time, in which case we will comply with your deletion request only after we have fulfilled such requirements). You should be aware that it is not always possible to completely remove or delete all of your information from our databases without some residual data remaining in our archives because of backups and other reasons.

Consent to Processing and Transfer of Information

The Path Forward LLC is a United States company, and the Web Sites is provided from the United States. If you are a user who resides outside the United States, please be aware that information we collect will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Web Sites, or providing us with any information, you consent to the collection, processing, maintenance and transfer of such information in and to the United States and other applicable countries in which the privacy laws may not be as comprehensive as or equivalent to, those in the country where you reside and/or are a citizen.

Third-party websites

You may find advertising or other content on our Web Sites that links to the sites and services of our partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors and other third parties. We do not control the content or links that appear on these sites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our Web Sites. In addition, these sites or services, including their content and links, may be constantly changing. These sites and services may have their own privacy policies and constituent service policies. Browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites which have a link to our Web Sites, is subject to that website’s own terms and policies.

Security

We use our best efforts to protect your Personal Information. However, no web site can be absolutely secure. Third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications and other users may abuse or misuse your personal information that they collect from this Web Sites. Therefore, although we work very hard to protect your privacy, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your personal information or private communications will always remain absolutely private.

Any dispute over privacy is subject to this Privacy Policy and the applicable Terms of Service, including limitations on damages and application of the law of the state of North Carolina.
